Job Summary

We are seeking an Optime/Anesthesia Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for configuring the Optime and Anesthesia applications to meet the needs of our Surgery business line. The ideal candidate will have experience with operating room management, patient monitoring, and/or anesthesia workflows, as well as a good understanding of information technology and recent developments in software systems.

Responsibilities
  • Configure Optime and Anesthesia applications to meet the needs of our Surgery business line
  • Work closely with our EHR Certified Analysts for assigned applications
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise and business process knowledge to project teams analyzing systemic or process issues within assigned areas
  • Assist departments/project teams in defining requirements for new systems
  • Participate in vendor selection process, including demonstrations and functional comparison activities
  • Write design specifications and complete system build/development tasks based on design specifications
  • Participate in testing, training, and go-live events
  • Provide technical support to system end users and maintain software for assigned systems at supportable levels
Requirements
  • Two to three years' experience with information technology application development, training, and implementation in a healthcare setting, with experience in Epic systems and processes strongly preferred
  • Epic OpTime and/or Epic Anesthesia Certification
  • Good understanding of the Epic system and integration into related systems
  • Ability to gather and document business and information systems requirements for hospital departments and provide formal analysis and design for recommended solutions
  • Proficient with the MS Office Professional Family Suite; Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point
