Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer III to join our team at Georgia Tech. This role will provide advanced electrical engineering services in support of campus electrical distribution systems and research efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Lead in the design, installation, and testing of electrical/electronic components
  • Develop engineering project schedules and make work assignments
  • Conduct analyses of electrical/electronic system performance
  • Develop plans and specifications for electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and oversee calibration and repair work
  • Prepare drawings, schematics, and related documentation for electrical components and systems
  • Manage project engineering budgets and interact with vendors regarding procurement and delivery issues
  • Conduct project reviews for conformance to quality standards and compliance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Four to five years of job-related experience
  • Advanced professional level knowledge and skills in electrical engineering principles, processes, and practices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Additional Bachelor's Degree in other Engineering discipline or Master's Degree in applicable field
