Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer III to join our team at The Westin Peachtree Plaza Atlanta. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to ensure seamless operation of hotel systems.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
  • Knowledge of hotel engineering software and systems.
