We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic researcher to join our team at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. The successful candidate will have a PhD in biology, biomedical engineering, molecular imaging, chemistry, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and assess strategies to deploy novel molecularly targeted PET and therapeutic probes in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer models.
- Conduct research in molecular imaging and therapy of pre-clinical cancer models.
- Collaborate with our team to explore creative ideas and translate approaches to clinical practice.
- Teach and supervise students and research technicians working on related projects.
- PhD in biology, biomedical engineering, molecular imaging, chemistry, or a related field.
- Prior experience in basic science of cancer development, characteristics, and tumor biomarkers, MR and/or PET image acquisition and analysis, working with small animals and creation of animal models, wet lab skills, and synthetic chemistry/radiochemistry.
- Track record of publication and excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Strong interest and commitment to research.
The appointment will be for 1-2 years with the possibility of extension based on performance and the availability of funding. We offer a unique opportunity to explore creative ideas in a supportive and collaborative environment.
