Job Summary

As a Configuration Manager at Scientific Research Corporation, you will play a critical role in defining and implementing lifecycle management processes for the release of new product baselines. You will contribute to a Configuration Control Board and guide change management and product configuration management efforts related to hardware and software levels of efforts (LOEs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of lifecycle management processes for the release of new product baselines.
  • Guide change management and product configuration management efforts related to hardware and software levels of efforts (LOEs).
  • Control and update documentation relating to existing managed system level baselines.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of hardware/software configuration management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining and controlling production level system hardware and software baselines and associated system level inventories.
  • Experience working directly in a customer-facing role to include conducting high-level briefings and data calls.
  • Clear written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for a position of trust in order to obtain a Federal ID to start.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience with one or more of the following Navy ACAT and AAP programs: Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Family of Systems (FoS), Cryptologic Carry-On Program (CCOP), SSEE Ship New Construction (SCN), Foreign Military Sales (FMS) United Kingdom (UK)/New Zealand (NZ), Distributed Common Ground System - Navy (DCGS-N) FoS, Intelligence Carry-On Program (ICOP), Joint Tactical Terminal - Maritime (JTT-M), Automatic Identification System, (AIS), Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA), and Integrated Communications and Data Systems (ICADS).
  • Proficiency in DoD Acquisition and Life-Cycle Management policies and procedures.
  • Experience using CMPRO, JIRA, and SAFE AGILE.
  • Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and FIAR (Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness) compliance standards.
