We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Abbott Diabetes Care Division in Alameda, CA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance to EMC, radio, and safety standards for our medical devices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute V&V test protocols for electrical design and test equipment
- Specify, design, verify and validate very low-power analog front-end design and battery-powered embedded systems
- Provide expertise in EMC/EMI, radio and safety regulatory standards
- Work with project teams on risk files and labeling for compliance to regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively to and participate in cross-functional development teams
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in relevant field
- Mastery of fundamental Electrical Engineering principles
- Solid knowledge of regulations and industry standards for medical device development
