This role is responsible for facilitating and expediting the processing of customer service requests. The Sample Entry Analyst serves as the portal for the exchange of information between customers and our technical/administrative staff, ensuring a positive customer experience and overall ownership of entering submitted samples into our laboratory information management system (LIMS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process submitted samples/service requests, initiating workflow and traceability through entry of requests and associated customer information into the LIMS.
- Prioritize and manage submitted samples to ensure timely processing.
- Contribute to a safe and orderly working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Collaboration and teamwork skills necessary.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds.
- Previous experience with data entry and database management desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Science background encouraged.
