Job Summary

Bally's Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Accurately report and document maintenance and repair activities, including deficiencies and completed work.
  • Facilities Support: Provide support for special events and meetings, including setup and teardown of facilities.
  • Supply Chain Management: Run errands and pick up supplies and parts as needed for maintenance projects.
  • Vehicle Operations: Drive company vehicles to run errands, pick up/deliver parts, supplies, equipment, etc.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests and colleagues.
  • Safety and Compliance: Work safely, following all established safety rules and regulations, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Experience: 2-3 years' prior work experience in general maintenance required.
  • Certifications: Must be able to obtain Dover Downs certification to operate fork lifts, man lifts, tractors, and other related job equipment.
  • Skills: Basic working knowledge and understanding of electric, plumbing, HVAC, diagnostic equipment, and general maintenance required.
  • Communication: Must be able to communicate in English clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Teamwork: Must be able to provide support to coworkers and express ideas or make recommendations concerning job-related issues.
  • Adaptability: Must be able to learn specific job duties and complete detailed work assignments.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Work Environment: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled.
  • Background Check: Must successfully pass a background check.
  • Professional Appearance: Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate attire.
