Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Retail Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service by fostering a welcoming atmosphere, greeting customers, and maintaining high standards of service.
  • Communicating product discrepancies regarding supply, quality, or new inventory needs to the Purchasing Coordinators.
  • Training and supervising designated team members within the department.
  • Coordinating with team members regarding their tasks, schedules, product knowledge, and customer interactions.
  • Addressing and resolving customer complaints effectively.
  • Making customer service decisions with a limit of up to $500 in company loss.
  • Reporting any company losses to the management team.
  • Ensuring product availability on the sales floor for customers.
  • Monitoring departmental performance to ensure assigned tasks are completed.
  • Assisting departments with customer service and product knowledge inquiries.
  • Planning work schedules for team members under your supervision.
  • Opening and closing the store on a rotational basis to maintain direct contact with customers and operations.
  • Participating in the Manager on Duty (MOD) program as assigned.
  • Documenting performance feedback for team members in your department.
  • Contributing to the employee review process.
  • Providing coverage for any department as needed.
  • Monitoring all departments during weekends and evenings.
Work Schedule

The store operates Monday through Saturday, with every other Saturday required.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
