Minimum Rate of Pay: $25.34 PLUS DailyPAY
Position Overview:
Surgical Technologists play a crucial role in delivering both direct and indirect patient care within the Operating Room environment, catering to patients across all age groups, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
Available Shifts: Day and Evening shifts (8:00am-4:30pm / 10:30am-8:00pm)
Employment Status: Full-time and Contingent positions available
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Completion of an associate degree in Surgical Technology and active certification as a Surgical Technologist OR two (2) years of relevant surgical technologist experience with active certification.
Certification:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is mandatory and must be obtained within six months of hire for candidates who have recently completed a Surgical Technologist program.
Experience:
- No prior experience is necessary if actively certified as a Surgical Technologist; if not certified, proof of eligibility to take the certification exam must be provided, with certification obtained within six months of hire.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare for surgical procedures by ensuring a sterile environment and organizing necessary instruments and supplies according to surgeon preferences.
- Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, sponges, sutures, and other sterile materials during operations, while maintaining a sterile field.
- Support the RN in circulating duties, including opening supplies, assisting with patient positioning, and preparing the surgical site.
- Conduct counts of sponges, needles, and instruments before, during, and after surgical procedures to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Assist in dressing the surgical site following the completion of procedures.
