Operations Manager, Event Coordinator

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and reliable Operations Manager, Run of Show to support the operations management team in ensuring the success of each event. This role is responsible for overall venue management during run-of-show, including facilities, coat check, box office, operations administration, guest relations, door staff, security, and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Reports to the Director of Operations
- Performs and prioritizes assigned duties to support venue operations and overall business objectives and goals
- Advances departmental needs, including logistical items with facilities, staff meal tickets, guest drink tickets, etc
- Ensures all employees have the necessary tools and information needed to perform their duties for each event
- Manages all ROS operations, ensuring the safety and security of employees and guests are held to the highest standards and reporting and/or rectifying any issues, concerns, R&M needs, necessary cleaning, employee breaks, etc in a timely manner
- Develops strategies and methods to increase overall processing and performance of an event or future events
- Organizes workflow, traffic flow, etc, as needed, to maintain safety and efficiency
- Provides feedback, coaching, and counseling, when appropriate
- 3-4 years working service in venues, stadiums, arenas, hospitality industry, or equivalent
- 1 year management experience required
- Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced environments, a must
- Positive, upbeat leadership style; able to problem solve under pressure while maintaining high degree of professionalism
- Required proficiency in the Google Workspace suite, and its applications such as Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Drive- including Shared Drives, and Google Groups for seamless team communication
- Must be able to work long shifts, including overnight
- Must be able to lift 40lb
- Must be able to work standing for extended periods
The hourly rate for this position is $30-35
