We are currently seeking a part-time Community Living Support Specialist to join our CILA Team.

This role is focused on our CILA programs, requiring flexible availability for shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM and 11 PM to 7 AM on Saturdays, with additional availability for Sundays and holidays as needed. Applicants must be able to commit to at least three shifts per month.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Report maintenance needs to property management.
  • Conduct quarterly inspections of living spaces.
  • Coordinate annual safety inspections with local authorities.
  • Assist clients with meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care.
  • Facilitate engagement in arts, crafts, cooking, music, hygiene, life skills, and community support activities.
  • Encourage participation in social events and accompany clients on outings as necessary.
  • Document incidents and communicate client concerns to supervisors.
  • Be available for on-call emergencies and provide coverage for colleagues as needed.
  • Assist clients with physical tasks as required.
  • Provide training for new staff members in the role of Community Living Support Specialist.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse team and client population.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience is required.
  • Flexible availability for shifts on weekends and holidays is essential.
  • Must be available to work at least three shifts per month.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with physical and/or mental disabilities.
  • Capability to engage with diverse individuals and groups.
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance are required.
  • Willingness to transport clients as needed.
