Job Overview

Services for Independent Living is in search of a dedicated and skilled full-time Administrative Support Specialist within the Social Services sector. Applicants should possess either personal or professional experience working with individuals with disabilities and demonstrate outstanding customer service abilities. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent telephone etiquette are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to incoming calls and providing information and referrals as needed.
  • Overseeing the durable medical equipment loan program.
  • Completing Long Term Service questionnaires and directing waiver requests to the relevant agency. Familiarity with Medicaid Waiver is preferred.
  • Performing additional office tasks as assigned.

Experience in billing is a plus. Reliable transportation is a must. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check. We strongly encourage individuals with disabilities to apply.
