The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive, Corporate Events and Hospitality to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and execute various internal and industry stakeholder related events and initiatives
- Manage guest hotel room blocks and lists, communication processes, and final billing for race weekends and tentpole events
- Assist in venue and hotel sourcing, request for proposals, contract negotiations, and execution
- Develop event communication, presentations, schedules, and itineraries for constituent groups related to the project
- Manage food and beverage planning, including an understanding of requirements for various event types
- Perform other duties and projects assigned
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and a minimum of three years of related experience in the sports and/or corporate event industry
- Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience in various guest management applications a plus
- Creative and forward thinker
- High level of attention to detail
- Professional interaction with internal and external executives and guests
- Capabilities to perform and retain composure under high pressure situations
- Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, meet deadlines, and to work independently
- CMP designation or interest in pursuing the CMP designation a plus
