Team Introduction

The Tax Services teams provide high-quality tax solutions to both publicly traded and privately held middle-market enterprises, non-profit organizations, and affluent individuals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Act as the lead engagement manager with financial accountability for billing, realization, and collections.
  • Efficiently utilize available technology and resources to enhance technical application to projects, ensuring the engagement team adheres to the same standards.
  • Define suitable tax objectives, scope, and methodologies while actively engaging in decision-making with client management to comprehend the broader implications of current choices and potential solutions.
  • Assess skills and mentor Managers, Seniors, and Staff in client engagement management and technical proficiency in individual, trust, partnership, corporate, federal, state, local, and international tax returns, estimated payments, extensions, and audits.
  • Formulate and implement a business development strategy that encompasses networking, acquiring new clients, and expanding existing client relationships.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline is required; a Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Prior experience in a public accounting environment is preferred.
  • CPA or Bar License is mandatory.
  • At least 4 years of supervisory and training experience is required.
  • Expertise in corporate, partnership, individual, or trust and estate taxation is essential; experience with large, multi-state, internationally active middle-market clients is preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and maintain excellent client relationships is required.
  • Must possess visibility and recognition within your area of specialization and local market.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple client engagements is necessary.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.
