Position: Senior Mechanical Technician

The Senior Mechanical Technician at Permobil will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance on all machinery utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This role includes the installation of new machinery as required and maintaining comprehensive records of repairs and modifications.

The technician will diagnose equipment malfunctions in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols, perform necessary repairs, and support the upkeep of the facility, which encompasses lighting, HVAC systems, plumbing, and more.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently execute maintenance tasks using CMMS for machinery upkeep.
  • Oversee all maintenance and facility-related projects.
  • Identify and resolve equipment and tool issues to minimize production interruptions.
  • Conduct inspections and maintenance on production machinery, including fixtures.
  • Establish and uphold a calibration schedule compliant with ISO13485 standards.
  • Implement directives from management and safety committees.
  • Communicate potential downtime risks to management.
  • Possess knowledge of welding and fabrication safety practices.
  • Manage inventory of parts and supplies.
  • Ensure the overall maintenance of the facility.
  • Operate lifts and material handling equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 10 years of relevant experience or 7 years with a technical certification.
  • Strong collaborative skills with a focus on service.
  • Excellent critical thinking abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of facilities management including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
