Company Overview
AvantGarde, LLC (AG) is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SharePoint Development to provide support for a key client. The role involves engaging in various SharePoint site development activities, including gathering requirements, creating and managing new sites, and enhancing existing ones. The Senior SharePoint Developer will collaborate with the SharePoint/Java team to develop a document management application tailored for Case Management.

Position Details
This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week, with a hybrid work schedule at the client site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the migration of web applications from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online.
  • Develop policies for utilizing Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Contribute to the establishment of procedures for migrating SharePoint 2019 on-premises site collections to SharePoint Online.
  • Design site templates within SharePoint Online.
  • Advise site collection owners on the implementation of these templates.
  • Prepare user stories for new development initiatives.
  • Provide technical insights for the project Design Document.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, offering regular status updates.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field (BS, MS, or PhD).
  • At least twelve years of experience in delivering SharePoint solutions.
  • Proven experience in implementing and maintaining site collections and web applications in SharePoint 2019.
  • Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate in SharePoint Online.
  • Willingness to travel to the client site.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and user story creation.
  • Experience with SQL Server.
  • SharePoint certification is preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site full-time, with some hybrid support allowed.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling options within standard hours.
  • Capability to obtain a federal security clearance; active or recent clearance is preferred.
