Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Community Veterinary Partners. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our doctors in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians in medical, surgical, and dental procedures, including preparing patients for surgery and administering anesthetics.
  • Perform clinical laboratory procedures, such as fecal flotation exams, heartworm checks, and urinalysis, and maintain accurate records of test results.
  • Take radiographs and perform EKGs, and assist in restraining pets when necessary.
  • Counsel clients on various aspects of animal care, including medication administration and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and inventory of drugs and medical supplies.
  • Assist other staff members as required and participate in hospital functions, such as open houses and community events.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous veterinary practice experience preferred.
  • CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician) licensure or ability to obtain within one year from date of hire.
  • Strong communication and technical skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
