We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Veterinary Specialty Center, a leading veterinary specialty and emergency hospital. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in our cancer treatment team, working closely with our radiation oncologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Administer radiation therapy to patients, ensuring accurate and safe treatment delivery.
- Prepare and position patients for treatment, selecting anatomic parameters and technical settings as required.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and dosimetrists to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all therapy sessions, including patient data and treatment outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards and hospital policies.
- Current Radiation Therapist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- IEMA license required and ARRT license in good standing.
- Associate's degree or Technical degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in radiation therapy, preferably in a veterinary setting.
