Position Summary:

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will take charge of managing and supervising the receiving, handling, storage, and packing operations within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with quality standards. The selected candidate will oversee the accurate pulling, packing, and shipping of all orders. The ideal individual must possess strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to monitor various aspects of warehouse operations. Additionally, the candidate will manage inventory accuracy and cycle counts, coordinate orders, and track shipping timelines, ultimately ensuring the fulfillment of product orders. Administrative and warehouse support duties will also be part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry to receive, track, and allocate materials into inventory or other warehouse locations.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for any damage or missing items.
  • Pick, pack, label, and verify materials for outbound shipments.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone and email regarding shipments, carrier pricing, transfers, and coordination with the sales team.
  • Utilize online platforms for data entry, courier shipping labels, and Bill of Lading documentation.
  • Sort incoming RMAs and collaborate with the RMA department to generate invoices.
  • Communicate any discrepancies to the relevant departments.
  • Maintain a clean work environment, including emptying trash, sweeping work areas, and restocking supplies in restrooms.
  • Assist with receiving, packaging, and shipping processes.
  • Conduct and oversee cycle counts, reporting on overstock, shortages, and damaged or missing goods.
  • Timely report claims for damaged or missing materials.
  • Oversee employee timekeeping.
  • Report any health and safety concerns.
  • Operate equipment such as power jacks, pallet jacks, scales, and dock plates for daily stock movement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Completion of a secondary high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift heavy items, ranging from 50 to 75 pounds.
  • Physical ability to reach, kneel, and bend to store or retrieve items for orders.
