Position Overview:
The RN Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and maintaining satisfaction among patients, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and direct clinical operations of nursing units during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
* Facilitate the implementation of care delivery models, mentor nursing staff, and ensure effective communication with other departments.
* Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate staffing levels for safe, round-the-clock nursing care, minimizing reliance on overtime and agency staff.
* Participate in recruitment, orientation of new hires, and provide recommendations for promotions, transfers, and terminations.
