Job Title: Clinical Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical supervision to the treatment team staff at POWER House, a 26-bed residential treatment program for women with substance use and co-occurring disorders. This position requires a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, and a minimum of five years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, with at least two years as a supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage clinical service delivery, including client biopsychosocial assessment, group and individual psychotherapy, family education, counseling, and support.
  • Provide clinical skills assessment and supervision to Therapists/Counselors, Case Manager, and interns.
  • Facilitate and supervise weekly Clinical Treatment Team meetings and Case Consultations.
  • Guide development of treatment plans and monitor plans and plan reviews to determine whether clients' goals are being met.
  • Review clinical documentation, ensure integrity of EMR, and complete all electronic service approvals for direct reports within the required timeframes.
  • Work collaboratively with the Manager and Finance Department to ensure accurate records of services for timely reimbursement.
  • Complete regular QA activities, including chart audits to ensure clinical documentation is up to standard and in compliance with all regulatory and funding requirements.
  • Ensure the professional development of Therapists, interns, and program staff, and assist with hiring, onboarding, and training staff.
  • Complete performance evaluations and review performance with assigned staff.
  • Administer, interpret, operationalize, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including DDAP, ASAM, CARF, and all other regulatory and funding requirements.
  • Maintain the highest standards of ethical, legal, and moral practices, and help staff integrate solutions to legal and ethical issues into clinical practice.
  • Function autonomously and use appropriate judgment in the analysis and problem-solving of daily and crisis situations.
  • Work with the Consulting Psychiatrist/Medical Director to ensure that clients' behavioral health needs are being addressed.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, with at least two years as a supervisor.
  • LPC or LCSW licensure required or in process.
  • Personal recovery experience is not required, but if the candidate has lived experience, they must have at least four years in recovery.
  • Knowledge and understanding of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders and of recovery support systems are required.
  • Experience in a women-centered treatment environment and/or with gender-responsive and trauma-informed care is preferred.
  • Experience with motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapies, including DBT, is preferred.
  • Understands and supports a trauma-informed system of care.
  • Highly effective interpersonal and engagement skills.
  • Self-directed and flexible to meet the needs of clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to support the agency's mission and philosophy and demonstrate sensitivity to cultural diversity and workplace harmony.
  • Value for and ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • On-call rotation required and some evening/weekend availability to meet the needs of clients.
  • Good computer skills; previous experience with an EMR system required.
  • Ability to obtain FBI, Act 33 and 34 Clearances.
  • Support health and wellness activities and model healthy coping skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work in POWER's various program sites and offices.
  • Ability to work the hours necessary to complete the work.
  • Ability to work in a 4-story facility, including stairs, and lift light boxes.
