Revenue Cycle Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Supervisor, Revenue Cycle to join our team at Northwell Health. As a key member of our revenue operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our financial processes.
In this position, you will supervise and coordinate the staff and daily operations in the assigned unit, mentoring and developing the skills of direct reports. You will also participate in evaluation and implementing quality controls and performance improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities- Promote department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members.
- Lead the activities of assigned team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives.
- Supervise, hire, train, discipline, and evaluate staff; ensure performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner.
- Routinely audit work output to ensure compliance with unit expectations and processes.
- Train new employees on department policies, procedures, processes, and applicable information systems.
- Inform staff of changes in policies, procedures, processes, systems, and regulatory laws and requirements.
- Partner with Human Resources to deliver corrective action, as necessary; mentor and develop skills of direct reports.
- Plan and prioritize schedules, assign, and monitor work to optimize operations service.
- Implement operating policies and procedures related to unit; analyze, recommend, implement, and monitor approved work-flow changes.
- Gather department metrics and prepare reports for management review; maintain attendance, payroll records and processing of time-off requests.
- Recommend procedural and system changes to improve processes, operational quality and efficiency, i.e., job aides, training resources, and work flow; actively participate in process improvement projects.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership/management experience.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills.
Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
