Product Development Specialist

Job Summary
CPS is seeking a highly skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for formulating new products within the structure and guidance of a stage gate process.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate products using industry standard test methods
- Ensure existing products continue to meet current performance guidelines
- Understand the competitive landscape by evaluating and benchmarking commercial samples
- Support sales and customers by fielding questions and inquiries
- Read and interpret technical literature and specifications
- Perform statistical analysis and provide management with written and verbal reports of laboratory testing and process trials or studies
Requirements
- Strong analytical skillset with the ability to interpret production data
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate across different levels
