Position Overview

Are you prepared to make a meaningful difference? As the Senior Vice President of Student Affairs, you will report directly to the President and lead the Division of Student Affairs. Collaborating with campus leaders, you will be instrumental in enhancing student development and enriching the overall campus experience. This role includes managing a substantial budget and leading a diverse team of professionals and student employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary direction to promote academic success, personal development, and community involvement among all students.
  • Financial Management: Oversee and manage fiscal resources effectively to support student achievement and enhance campus life.
  • Community Collaboration: Build and nurture partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to cultivate a dynamic campus community.
  • Diversity and Inclusion Advocacy: Champion a campus culture that embraces diverse perspectives and backgrounds, ensuring an inclusive environment for every student.

Qualifications

A Master's degree is required; a PhD is preferred. Candidates should possess 10-12 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education, particularly in student affairs within large, public research universities. Proven success in team leadership, financial stewardship, and student engagement initiatives is essential. A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education is crucial.
