We are seeking a highly skilled Board-Certified Cardiologist to join our team at the Department of Veteran Affairs. As a Cardiologist, you will be responsible for participating in and/or managing all aspects of a general Cardiology program, including clinical, administrative, academic, and research components.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and Treat Patients: Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with cardiac diseases according to standard, usual, and acceptable methods and techniques.
- Provide Clinical Services: Provide services such as outpatient examinations, consultation services related to cardiology, management of patients with current treatment regiment, and admission status as necessary.
- Participate in Tele-Cardiology Program: Participate in providing care in the tele-cardiology program at the facility.
- Provide Clinical Consultation: Providing clinical consultation to Harry S Truman VAMC clinical staff. Patient caseload may be inpatient, outpatient, or both.
- Education: MD or Do Degree
- Licensure: Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Flexible Work Schedules: Flexible work schedules and shifts
- Low Patient-Provider Ratios: Low patient-provider ratios
