Role Summary:
We are in search of a highly qualified individual to fulfill the role of Senior Technical Agile Project Manager. This position necessitates a comprehensive understanding of Agile frameworks, project oversight, and business analysis to steer and oversee intricate, high-stakes projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing project scope, timelines, and budgets, along with a proven ability to gather and document business requirements, provide technical guidance, and navigate projects from initiation to completion. Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Key Duties:
- Oversee the planning, organization, control, and staffing of technical, administrative, financial, contractual, and personnel actions necessary for project execution.
- Formulate and sustain comprehensive project management plans, incorporating strategies for Agile implementation, program increments (PIs), release timelines, milestones, and dependency oversight.
- Administer the scope, schedule, and budget of projects, ensuring alignment with established goals and objectives.
- Direct the execution of Agile projects, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Guarantee that all deliverables are completed punctually, within scope, and budget, adhering to the project plan.
- Provide creative solutions to project-related challenges, encompassing schedule, cost, and technology/tool assessments.
- Utilize project management tools such as JIRA or other MS 365 compatible applications to manage requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and defect tracking.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Deliver weekly and monthly status reports detailing project advancements, risks, issues, mitigation strategies, and other pertinent information.
- Facilitate kickoff meetings, weekly status updates, and other stakeholder engagement activities to ensure transparent communication and alignment on project objectives and progress.
- Generate and maintain project documentation, including master project plans, schedules, roadmaps, meeting notes, and status reports.
- Ensure all project documentation is stored in the designated SharePoint environment and updated consistently.
- Lead discussions with stakeholders to gather and elicit business requirements.
- Document and analyze requirements to ensure they align with business needs and objectives.
- Create detailed requirement specifications and use cases, ensuring clarity and understanding among the development team.
- Evaluate the operational and functional baseline of the organization to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Guide the development team in designing and implementing automation solutions that fulfill client business needs, leveraging low-code platforms for content management and retrieval solutions.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team to ensure alignment on project objectives and progress.
- Monitor project advancement and make necessary adjustments to maintain project alignment, applying Agile practices and principles for efficient project delivery.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in Agile project management and 3 years as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar capacity focused on requirements gathering and documentation.
· PMP Certification (Required)
· Scrum Certification (Required)
· PRINCE2 Certification (Optional, but highly regarded)
· Proven experience in leading technical teams and delivering automation solutions utilizing low-code platforms.
· Demonstrated experience in managing project scope, schedule, and budget; risk management; and resource management across multiple teams.
· Proven ability to analyze complex project-related challenges and deliver innovative solutions that maximize value.
· Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading Agile projects.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Proficient in using project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, and SharePoint.
