Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and support practice operations team members.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, ordering office supplies, and maintaining a well-organized workspace.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, management staff, and physicians.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and provide accurate information to all departments.
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients, family members, and guests with a friendly smile.
  • Assist patients with signing in and completing registration.
  • Enter and scan patient demographic and insurance information into Epic.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefit information, and inform patients of their benefits.
  • Collect co-payments and patient balances.
  • Answer incoming phone calls in a courteous and prompt manner, and direct calls and take messages.
