As a Senior Procurement Agent for Modular Mission Critical, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Acting as a vital link between the Procurement division and internal partners, including the Executive Team, Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing departments.
  • Collaborating closely with core Program/Project teams to oversee high-profile and high-value initiatives, utilizing project management expertise to ensure the effective and timely execution of Modular Mission Critical's project portfolio.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Procurement strategy during the bidding phase:
    • Grasping contract specifications and bills of materials.
    • Identifying, sourcing, and prequalifying suppliers while developing comprehensive Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
    • Evaluating multiple bids (scope leveling) and creating a Vendor Matrix; working alongside project and engineering teams to verify the completeness of service and supply scopes.
    • Negotiating and finalizing contracts.
    • Formulating the Procurement Plan.
    • Managing the implementation of the plan post-award.
  2. Post-award procurement planning and execution on major projects:
    • Transferring bid phase documentation and insights to the project team.
    • Engaging with the project team on procurement planning and execution.
    • Gathering and disseminating market intelligence across projects and programs.
  3. Assessing and integrating current market dynamics into procurement strategies:
    • Monitoring pricing trends.
    • Understanding lead times and logistical requirements.
    • Identifying best value opportunities.
    • Exploring alternative product options for material cost and labor savings.
    • Staying updated on evolving contract compliance standards.
  4. Interpreting and analyzing contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project timelines.
  5. Traveling to project sites, manufacturers, and suppliers as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the capability to obtain a Security Clearance from the federal government.
  • Experience in procurement, specifically sourcing and negotiating contracts with Original Equipment Manufacturers and specialty trade subcontractors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles.
