Position Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous individual to become part of our electromechanical assembly team. This role focuses on the assembly of Signal Conditioners and Indicators, which includes printed circuit card assembly, soldering, and electrical testing. Familiarity with AS9100 standards and procedures is highly advantageous. The ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate assembly records is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electromechanical assembly tasks by following detailed written instructions or through on-the-job training.
  • Adhere strictly to established working procedures and policies.
  • Accurately log labor hours using the company's enterprise software.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail, proficiently identifying product nonconformities.
  • Propose and initiate continuous improvement opportunities based on insights gained.
  • Document work performed to comply with AS9100 quality standards.
  • Keep the workspace organized and clean according to 5S standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in following documented assembly and acceptance test procedures.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with digital multimeters, power supplies, and computers.
  • Willingness to learn to operate LMS-specific test equipment.
  • High manual dexterity and capability to perform tasks under magnification.
  • Experience with soldering is beneficial; the ability to master precision soldering is crucial.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-3+ years of relevant assembly experience.
  • Experience in an ESD environment is a plus.
  • Background in an AS9100 industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
