Manufacturing Assembly Technician

Liquid Measurement Systems, Inc. is a leading provider of electro-mechanical components for aerospace applications. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our electromechanical assembly team.
This position is primarily focused on the final assembly of carbon composite fuel probes, which entails wiring harnesses, printed circuit board soldering, and bonding carbon tubes. Experience with AS9100 requirements and procedures is a plus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling electrical assemblies, following established working procedures and policies, and accurately tracking labor hours using our enterprise software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical assemblies from detailed written procedures or on-the-job training
- Follow established working procedures and policies exactly and consistently
- Accurately track labor hours using our enterprise software
- Maintain attention to detail with focus and become proficient in identifying product nonconformities
- Identify, suggest, or initiate continuous improvement opportunities based on lessons learned
- Properly document work performed to meet AS9100 quality standards
- Maintain a clean and neat work area to 5S standards
Requirements:
- Experience following documented assembly procedures and acceptance test procedures
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
- Familiarity with hand tools, gauges, and fixtures such as torque screwdrivers and wrenches, solder tools, calipers, go/no-go fixtures, and jigs
- High manual dexterity and ability to perform work under magnification
- Experience with soldering a plus; ability to learn precision soldering is essential
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3+ years of relevant assembly experience
- Experience in ESD environment a plus
- Experience in AS9100 industry a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)

- Ability to follow established processes and work instructions
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be a US Person
