As an Operations Management Trainee, you will collaborate with seasoned professionals in the field operations of Dead River Company, ensuring we meet our customers' energy needs in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will embody the values of Dead River Company by upholding our Brand Promise and Customer Guarantees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in various departments across one or more markets to gain a comprehensive understanding of all operational processes, including Customer Service, Delivery, Service, Sales, and Credit.
- Acquire a solid grasp of company policies, procedures, and regulations pertinent to the retail petroleum sector, along with proficiency in the computer systems that manage customer accounts, inventory, and billing.
- Support the Regional Director or General Manager with special initiatives, which may encompass budgeting, financial analysis, maintenance, customer service challenges, and marketing strategies.
- Participate in company-sponsored management training sessions.
Additional Duties:
Assist with various projects and other work-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated leadership experience is preferred.

The Operations Management Trainee will consult with the Regional Director or General Manager regarding significant decisions.
Safety Considerations:
This position requires a thorough understanding of all safety-related aspects relevant to the market.
Work Environment:
Most of the time will be spent in an office environment with controlled temperatures, along with some outdoor exposure in varying weather conditions. Reliable transportation is necessary for travel to multiple locations.
Physical Requirements:
The role involves frequent sitting, standing, and walking, along with regular use of fingers for data entry and paperwork. Communication skills are essential for effective interaction in person and over the phone.
Weight Handling:
There is minimal need to lift or move objects exceeding 25 pounds.
