Job Description

Job Summary:

Nippon Light Metal Georgia, Inc. is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team in Adairsville, GA. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating assigned machines to prepare automobile parts throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual inspections of machines prior to starting shift and periodically throughout each shift to ensure proper equipment operation and output.
  • Follow the production schedule set by the Production Manager to meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Contribute to the production of quality products by following all defined quality procedures and monitoring the process to ensure compliance.
  • Notify the supervisor and maintenance team of any equipment issues or concerns.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Effectively and safely operate a variety of assigned tools and equipment, including a band saw, drill press, lathe, and tensile tester.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lock-out/tag-out procedures is preferred.
