Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Autoskin Quality Engineer to join our team at LG HAUSYS AMERICA INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our automotive coatings products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Provide training and support to production staff on quality-related topics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the automotive coatings industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and TS 16949.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends and areas for improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Quality Auditor certification.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control and data analysis tools.

Working Conditions:

  • Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least 2/3 of time.
  • Position requires minimal lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Position requires regular and reliable attendance.
  • Position requires local travel up to 10% of time.
