Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team at Red Rock Behavioral Health Services.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and respond to emergency situations, providing crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Conduct admission screenings and complete required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and self-care strategies.
  • Document all interactions and interventions, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications or licenses.
