Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Dimmick Group Peterbilt and Lucky's Truck & Trailer Sales. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with vehicles and equipment.
  • Test and inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Communicate with customers and service advisors to ensure that repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Technician or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • B-level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
  • Positive and friendly attitude, with a willingness to learn and improve.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with others effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
