Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional Quality Control Microbiology Specialist to lead our environmental monitoring program at our GMP manufacturing facilities in the Greater Madison Area and Northwest Indiana. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with cGMP regulations and maintaining a contamination-free environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate and oversee the environmental monitoring program at both facilities, ensuring seamless sample collection, transportation, and processing.
2. Develop and manage schedules for routine and non-routine monitoring activities, both internally and with external contract laboratories.
3. Conduct environmental monitoring sample collection (non-viable, viable, surface, and personnel) and provide guidance and training to additional team members.
4. Maintain accurate and complete documentation in electronic test methods and review trended data.
5. Support EM and laboratory deviations, identify corrective actions, and implement solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance cleaning/disinfection programs, material/equipment, and gowning protocols as applicable.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences or related field with 0-3 years of experience in GMP QC Laboratory
- Proficient in microbiology methods (plate enumeration, growth promotion, microbial ID, etc.) and aseptic technique
- Strong knowledge of US and EU cGMP regulations/guidance
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage priorities, and meet timelines for multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels and across various functions

Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $95,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, plus benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plan, and paid time off. Estimated salary range: $85,000 - $110,000, depending on location and experience, as well as travel opportunities between manufacturing sites (~20% of time).
