Compensation

Hourly Rate: $25

Work Schedule

Available Shifts: 6am - 2pm Tuesday - Saturday OR 2pm - 10pm Tuesday - Saturday

Position Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in security roles, ability to work on your feet, and comfort in outdoor settings.

Leadership Role: This position offers a chance to advance within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate emergency notifications as per site Post Orders.
  • Guide and instruct team members on their responsibilities.
  • Cross-train officers to enhance versatility and operational efficiency.
  • Propose productivity improvements and cost-saving measures to management.
  • Recommend adjustments for physical security assessments and post orders.
  • Advise on personnel actions for those under direct supervision.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers on shift.
  • Ensure compliance with training and screening requirements for security personnel.
  • Maintain overtime within designated limits set by Allied Universal.
  • Regularly inspect security personnel and their performance to ensure quality service and contract adherence.
  • Handle additional operational tasks such as payroll, incident report reviews, and preparation of security assessments.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on state and local regulations.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Associate's degree or higher in any field.
    • Active-duty military service, military reserves, or National Guard.
    • Experience as auxiliary police or police cadets.
    • At least one year of verifiable security experience.
  • At least two years of verifiable work experience demonstrating:
    • Exceptional customer service abilities.
    • Ability to maintain composure during emergencies.
    • Capability to understand and apply written and verbal instructions, as well as report writing.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Skills in coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members.
  • Active listening and teamwork encouragement.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations accurately.
  • Research and information compilation skills.
  • Conflict mediation with tact and diplomacy.
  • Goal setting and achievement capabilities.
  • Attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Emergency Management Systems and FEMA Incident Command Certification (ICO 100, 200, 300).
  • Familiarity with EMS protocols, Medical First Responder, or Emergency Medical Technician certifications.
