Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of security officers and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to handle emergency situations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for security-related matters when the Director of Security is not on property.
  • Facilitate training and coaching for security officers to ensure that they are up-to-date on the latest security protocols and procedures.
  • Assist the hotel team in ensuring the protection of guests, employees, and property, and enforce hotel rules and regulations.
  • Respond to emergency calls and assist in the Fire Command center as needed.
  • Patrol the building to identify and correct safety and security hazards.
  • Implement all security and safety policies and procedures.
  • Share duties in the Operations Center, including emergency and department phone monitoring, closed-circuit television monitoring, alarm monitoring, and key control.
  • Respond properly in any hotel emergency safety situation.
  • Assist with Worker's Compensation and maintain health and safety records.
  • Write comprehensive incident reports and conduct thorough investigations.
Requirements
  • At least 1+ years of security experience, preferably in a hotel or residential setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with peers, superiors, and clients.
  • Ability to work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.
  • Must be flexible with schedule and able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evening/overnight shifts.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume and demanding environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations and guests.
