Position Overview
This role is crucial in ensuring a positive experience for all guests at Spare Time Entertainment. The individual will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall satisfaction of our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold professional interactions by adhering to Spare Time Service Standards (Code S.E.R.V.E.).
  • Welcome guests, assess their needs, allocate available lanes, and provide necessary instructions to get started.
  • Respond to guest inquiries both over the phone and in person, delivering precise information.
  • Inform guests about upcoming promotions, special offers, and events.
  • Efficiently operate the POS System to ensure accurate transactions while managing lanes, processing payments, returning change, and generating reports or scores.
  • Issue, document, and redeem gift certificates and coupons in accordance with company policies.
  • Balance receipts, count cash, and complete daily shift documentation.
  • Oversee lane inventory and assist with lane turnover tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing work area.
  • Communicate effectively with pit crews; operate call buttons, relay messages, log calls, and monitor response times.
  • Handle various tasks related to vending machines, including collecting and recording vending money and restocking items.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as required.
  • Monitor guests for adherence to rules and regulations.
  • Report any company policy violations to management.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 6+ months of experience in an entertainment center, hospitality, or retail environment.
Work Environment
  • This position may involve exposure to loud noise levels and lighting effects such as lasers and strobes.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • This role typically requires long hours and frequent weekend shifts.
