Job Summary

Rochester Collision Center is seeking a skilled Auto Body Reassembly/Disassembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our collision repair team, you will play a crucial role in the disassembly and reassembly of vehicles, working closely with estimators to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassembly and Reassembly: Safely disassemble vehicles in sequence, removing components and accessories to access the vehicle body and fenders, and reassemble vehicles with precision and attention to detail.
  • Documentation and Quality Control: Compile detailed documentation of the disassembly and reassembly process, and conduct quality control checks to ensure that all repairs meet our high standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with estimators and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient repairs, and communicate effectively with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure that all equipment and tools are properly stored and maintained, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Effective communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate hand tools and machinery, and move equipment as needed.
