Job Summary

At Rochester Collision Center, we're seeking a skilled Disassembly/Reassembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our collision repair team, you'll play a crucial role in disassembling and reassembling vehicles to prepare them for repair.

Key Responsibilities

* Disassemble vehicles in a methodical and efficient manner, removing upholstery, accessories, and electrical components to access the vehicle body and fenders
* Compile detailed documentation of the disassembly process, including notes on additional parts and repairs required
* Assess and document vehicle damage, identifying areas that require additional attention
* Load carts with damaged parts, clips, and new components, ensuring a smooth workflow
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and storing equipment and tools properly
* Ensure all work meets quality control standards before progressing to the next stage

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred)
* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
* Ability to learn new technology and procedures, with a focus on continuous improvement
* Valid state driver's license and ability to be insured through RMC liability insurance

Physical Demands

* Operate hand tools and machinery, with a focus on precision and attention to detail
* Move tires, body panels, and other equipment up to 50 pounds, with a focus on safety and efficiency
