Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Smart Dental of Lexington. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dental care to our patients while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

As a Dental Hygienist with our practice, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering high-quality dental care. You will be responsible for conducting thorough oral examinations, providing personalized treatment plans, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. Our state-of-the-art facility offers the latest technology and equipment, ensuring that you have everything you need to succeed in your role.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough oral examinations to identify potential issues and develop personalized treatment plans- Provide routine cleanings, scaling, and polishing services to maintain patients' oral health- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health- Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training

Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in Kentucky- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening and medical history documentation- CPR certification preferred
