Mental Health Care Specialist

As a Mental Health Care Specialist at Universal Health Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health and substance use disorders. As a Mental Health Care Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include facilitating educational groups, ensuring patient safety, and providing routine non-acute physical care.
The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with some college coursework preferred. Experience may be accepted in lieu of college course work. A basic knowledge of emotional and mental health and disease concepts, including the disease of addiction, is also required. Strong communication and interaction skills, as well as competency in facilitating psycho-education groups, are essential for this role.
