Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Inventory Specialist to join our team at GEO Corrections & Detentions. As a Property Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting, inspecting, and inventorying all personal property of incoming inmates.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and inspect all personal property of incoming inmates, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation.
  • Develop and submit required reports relative to inmates' stored property.
  • Prepare property for the release of inmates, ensuring timely and secure processing.
  • Assist in the inmate release process, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including data entry and maintenance of computerized files.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED certificate.
  • Two (2) years of administration support experience, preferably in a correctional environment.
  • Experience in word processing and good knowledge of various software programs.
  • Working knowledge of general office procedures.
  • General clerical aptitude.
