Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Administering medications to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN)
- Presenting medication to patients and observing ingestion or administering medication using specified procedures
- Taking vital signs or observing patients to detect response to medication, and reporting reactions
- Restocking medication inventories
- Providing direct patient care and ensuring resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations
