About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our team at Bowman Williams. As a Senior System Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the server/networking infrastructures across various locations and helping your technical team modernize infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide remote and on-site server/workstation/network support and maintenance
  • Install applications and operating systems on customer hardware
  • Investigate user problems and identify their source; determine solutions; test and implement solutions
  • Configure and install servers (Windows, firewalls (Cisco, SonicWALL, Meraki, Fortinet), switches (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Unifi), and other related equipment, devices, and systems
  • Work in conjunction with the Project Manager to implement projects successfully
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 Applications, SharePoint Online, AVD
  • Experience with systems administration tasks, such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, etc.
  • All Windows desktop and server operating systems
  • RMM platforms such as ConnectWise Automate
  • Familiarity with Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Dell, and SonicWALL network equipment
