This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring that schools have the necessary personnel to provide quality education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily assignments for substitute educators and staff, ensuring effective coverage for classroom vacancies.
- Manage the comprehensive onboarding process for substitutes, which includes training, credential verification, and background checks to maintain a pool of qualified candidates.
- Communicate daily staffing needs and substitute placements with school administration.
- Maintain and update a database of available substitutes using our scheduling and applicant tracking systems.
- Actively recruit, screen, and interview potential candidates, evaluating their qualifications for suitable placements.
- Build and nurture positive relationships with school personnel to understand their staffing requirements and provide customized solutions.
- Ensure prompt fulfillment of all staffing requests to achieve high levels of satisfaction among educational institutions.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both educational clients and candidates, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor in all interactions.
- Participate in and contribute to training sessions and orientations for substitute educators.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma is required; an Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
- Prior experience in an office or educational environment is advantageous.
- Proficient in relevant computer applications, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality regarding faculty, staff, and student information.
- Exhibits a warm, friendly, and approachable personality.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to learn and effectively use Penmac's internal systems and programs.
