We are seeking a skilled Echocardiography Sonographer to join our team at UVA Health. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Professional, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive echocardiograph imaging and exams.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and technical requirements for Contrast Echocardiography (LVO Doppler enhancement MCE shunt evaluation).
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in cardiac ultrasound.
Requirements:
  • Must meet the education requirement for Echocardiography Sonographer certification with either CCI or ARDMS.
  • 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • RCS or RDCS with CCI or RCVT with ARDMS certification within 12 months of hire.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
