Position Summary:
The Norwalk, CT office is seeking an Employee Benefits Consultant to lead the Employee Benefits team. This role involves overseeing the client service model with the assistance of an Account Manager and Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary contact for clients, particularly for C-Suite executives, addressing escalated inquiries and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
2. Provide strategic insights and consultative guidance to clients, including the analysis and recommendations for coverage modifications.
3. Manage the client lifecycle, ensuring timely completion of all deliverables and proactive planning.
4. Prepare and present client materials in collaboration with the Account Manager and Analyst.
5. Negotiate renewal terms and marketing outcomes with insurance carriers.
6. Develop financial models and strategic recommendations tailored to client needs.
7. Collaborate with team members to identify cross-selling opportunities aligned with the strategic plan, including Wellness and Pharmacy Solutions.

Mentorship and Development:
Support the growth of Analysts and Account Managers by providing mentorship and conducting quality reviews of their work.

Industry Knowledge:
Stay informed on market trends, new product developments, and legislative changes affecting employee benefits.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in employee benefits consulting or brokerage, with a strong understanding of client needs from both strategic and tactical perspectives.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of business with accounts exceeding 100 lives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- State Life and Health license required within 90 days of employment.
